NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX (January 15, 2025) – Signet Health is excited to kick off the new year by announcing the winners of the 2024 Signet Excellence in Advocacy Awards. These awards are open to all acute physical rehabilitation and behavioral health programs within Signet Health, with submissions based on activities from the 2024 year. The awards recognize outstanding achievements across five categories.
“There are countless inspiring stories of patient and family advocacy and success shared by our teams in behavioral health and acute inpatient physical rehabilitation programs, making it impossible to capture them all, said Joy Figarsky, Signet Health President and COO. “Recognizing these teams and highlighting how they make a difference—whether by improving patient outcomes, raising awareness, or advocating for those in need—also serves to inspire others to strive for excellence.”
Signet Health accepted online program nominations with 17 very deserving teams being nominated. “All of our programs across the country are doing incredible things every day for the patients, families, and communities we serve,” said Blake Browder, CEO of Signet Health. “I’m proud to celebrate and honor those nominated for their dedication and outstanding work.”
The following teams were selected as winners in each category:
- Inpatient Program of the Year – Franciscan Indianapolis Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, Indianapolis, IN
- Outpatient Program of the Year – MedStar Washington Hospital Center – Trinity Square Clinic, Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, Washington, DC
- Best Clinical Program – Dardanelle Regional Medical Center, Senior Behavioral Health and Intensive Outpatient Program, Dardanelle, AR
- Most Inspiring Act(s) of Advocacy – AnMed Medical Center Crisis Assessment Team (CAT), Anderson, SC
- Excellence in Referral Development/Marketing – McLaren Macomb Senior Behavioral Health Center, Shelby Township, MI

Award Category Descriptions:
- Inpatient Program of the Year and Outpatient Program of the Year— This team has demonstrated excellence throughout the year and achieved exceptional overall program performance. They have exceeded in clinical excellence, customer service, marketing, contract retention, performance metrics and provided a positive financial impact to the hospital. These criteria were all met while living the mission to advocate for the vulnerable when they cannot advocate for themselves.
- Best Clinical Program —This program met expectations for quality metrics and is committed to increasing effective care delivery and improving clinical outcomes. This team has achieved this by the implementation of thoughtful solutions/strategies/best-practices to ensure quality patient care.
- Most Inspiring Act(s) of Advocacy — This team consistently puts our mission of advocacy into motion and champions the rights and needs of patients and their families. Their efforts have made remarkable impacts.
- Excellence in Referral Development/Marketing — This innovative team excels at referral development, marketing, census growth and/or expansion of services. They provide exceptional community outreach by attending local events, building relationships, supporting the community’s need for knowledge and creating program awareness.
